Tuition Policy

The tuition policy at St. Catherine of Siena School is based on the actual per pupil cost for each child.  Each year the School Board prepares the budget for the coming year and determines the per pupil cost by dividing the total school budget by the number of students anticipated.

Any family who is able to pay this full per pupil cost is asked to do so for each child.  Bearing in mind that this is not possible for all families, the following provisions are made:

Families who are Catholic and active members of an Albany Diocesan parish, qualify for the Cost Based/Need Based Option.  They must carefully and prayerfully consider the amount they will pledge each year, trying to come as close as possible to the full per pupil cost.  In order to meet our expenses, a minimum pledge will be established by the School Board which each family must meet.  When this is not possible, the family may complete a financial aid form.
